Adjusting Card Positioning – X and Y Axis

This guide walks you through the process of adjusting card alignment for the IDP SMART-51 and other compatible models. Fine-tuning the X and Y axis ensures print content is properly centered and aligned on your card.

1. Click the Windows search bar and open Control Panel.

2. Click View devices and printers.

3. Click Printers & Scanners.

4. Select IDP SMART-51 Card Printer (or the printer being used).

5. Click Printer Properties.

6. Go to the Service tab.

7. Click Config Printer.

8. When prompted for a password, simply click OK without entering anything.

9. Use the Up/Down arrows for X Position to move the image left or right.

10. Use the Up/Down arrows for Y Position to move the image vertically.

11. Click Set Config. to apply your settings. Wait for the green progress bar to complete before proceeding.
