Driver Installation - Installing IDP Printer on MAC OS

🖥️ macOS Driver Installation Guide

1. Connect the power cable to the printer, but do not turn it on yet.
2. Install a compatible ribbon into the cartridge, then insert the cartridge into the printer.

3. Visit the official IDP website:
   https://www.idp-corp.com/index
   Hover over Support and click Download.
4. In the search box, enter your printer model and press Enter on your keyboard.

5. Scroll down to the macOS driver for your printer model and click Download.

6. The downloaded driver will typically appear in your browser’s taskbar or in your Downloads folder.

7. Run the driver installer. You may see a warning like the one below:

8. Open System Preferences (or System Settings) by clicking the Apple menu in the top left corner.

9. Navigate to Privacy & Security. Scroll down and click Open Anyway next to the blocked driver message.

10. Once the driver is installed, turn on your printer. Then go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners and click Add Printer, Scanner or Fax.

11. Select your connected IDP printer. In the Use dropdown, choose Select Software…

12. In the Printer Software window, choose your printer model and click OK.

13. Click the Add button to complete the setup. You may rename the printer if desired.

14. Your printer will now appear under Printers & Scanners and is ready to use.
